User Deletion Guide
This guide explains what happens when users are deleted in CaseBlocks and how the system maintains a complete system of record.
Overview
When a user is deleted in CaseBlocks, the system uses soft deletion to maintain a complete system of record. This means the user account is marked as deleted but the information is preserved to maintain audit trails and accountability.
What is Soft Deletion?
Soft deletion is a system of record feature that maintains accountability by:
- Marking the user as deleted without removing their information
- Preserving all related data to maintain complete audit trails
- Maintaining system of record for who changed what and when
- Ensuring accountability for all actions taken in the system
